Glad to here you are going to join us in the big apple. There are several group skates during the week but I would like to recommend a couple.

One is the Wednesday night skate. It is a casual and friendly skate that takes a different route each week. New skaters are ALWAYS welcome; in fact there are frequently visitors from out of the country. I will include the web site.

Empire Skate club has come skates I will include their website.

There is a skate Sunday morning that meets at the 59^th Street entrance of Central Park and leaves around 11:00AM

The Central Park Skate Patrol meets Saturday and Sunday at noon at the 59^th street entrance of the park and we set up stopping clinics at the 72^nd street entrances of the park, we are there until about 5:30pm, you are more than welcome to join us and you will surely meet up with someone to skate with.
