G'Day from Sydney Australia!
Australia has a great rollerblading / inline skating scene whether you're into rec, aggressive, hockey, cityskates, speed, etc.
I run the Australian Rollerblading / Inline Skating Online Magazine www.rollerblading.com.au which focuses on the aggressive inline skating scene but also has information on speed, hockey and recreational skating. I'm a Level 2 IISA ICP as well as USSG instructor. I also teach kids aggressive inline skating under the Australian Sports Commission Coach Accreditation making me a nationally certified coach.
Regarding the ICP in Australia: Before you consider whether to gain certification in Australia make sure that you consider whether insurance cover is offered or not and its cost. Also consider how often you need to renew the certificate by re-attending (as required).
If you are visiting Sydney give me a call on +61411872022 and mention you are a IISA ICP instructor and if I have time I'll show you around since I skate over the Sydney Harbour Bridge all the time and make sure you check the links area of rollerblading.com.au and the facebook.com group "cityskate" for information on the cityskate in Sydney.
